ABOUT
COFACTOR is a technology startup, established to conduct scientific research and development activities in the field of biotechnology, founded in 2017, whose mission is to create technology in the field of innovative food, cosmetics and medical applications.
The company specializes in research and development activities in the field of manufacturing and commercialization of nutraceutics, cosmeceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and analytical reagents. The main goal and priority of the COFACTOR company is to care for the safety and quality of manufactured substances. Meeting high product quality standards is ensured at every stage: from its development, through production and storage. The effectiveness of all activities is confirmed by maintaining and improving the Management System compliant with national, European and global requirements – ISO 22716 GMP and HACCP.
The main research infrastructure of COFACTOR from the beginning of its existence is the Wielkopolska Centre for Advanced Technologies located in Poznan, which is a multidisciplinary center bringing together best specialists in exact sciences, life sciences and technical sciences, focused on new materials and biomaterials with multilateral applications.

Michał Koczorowski, BEng, MSc
CEO
Graduate of Poznań University of Life Sciences in the field of Biotechnology and Economics, he also explored issues of Global and Managerial Economics at the University of Economics in Poznan. He has extensive knowledge and experience in business management and the use of modern analytical tools and methods supporting business decisions. Particularly interested in the economics aspects of research and development activities and widely understood innovation. Co-founder of a technology startup established to conduct scientific research and development activities in the field of biotechnology.
Filip Porzucek, BEng, PhD
CTO
Graduate of Poznań University of Life Sciences in the field of Biotechnology. PhD thesis: “Isolation, purification and characterisation of therapeutic peptide – lunasin”. Twice during studies he received the scholarship of the Minister of Higher Education. In 2012 he received „Student Nobel Prize” for the best student in the life science category. He has a lot of experience in biopreparation. For 5 years he was CTO in pharmaceutical company Finepharm which specialized in API production. Filip is author and co-author of API production technology for medicine, nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals. He specialises in membrane filtration and liquid chromatography. In Cofactor company he is responsible for developing and introducing new technology and supervising of the production process.
Jacek Wróblewski, BEng, PhD
Board Member
Graduate of Poznań University of Life Sciences in the field of Biotechnology. PhD thesis „Sexual signaling disorders in cystathionine-β-synthase deficient mice”. Specialist in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. Over three years of experience with laboratory animals, including POLLASA training. Co-author of several high impact factor scientific publications. In Cofactor he is responsible for Quality Control.
STRUCTURE
We offer fine scale client oriented manufacturing according to GMP and HACCP standards allows COFACTOR to meet clients request in various production capacity.
Heavily oriented to the quality of our final products, Quality Assurance ensures compliance of our operations with ISO 22716 GMP and HACCP standards. COFACTOR is constantly updating its Quality System to stay in compliance with current regulations by systematic review of Standard Operation Procedures and training of personnel involved.
COFACTOR is using state-of-the-art analytical equipment and highly qualified personnel to guarantee the quality of raw materials and final products. Our laboratory, located in Wielkopolska Centre of Advanced Technologies and with access to its rich infrastructure can carry out all the needed analyses required to approve raw materials, as well as final products. Quality Control staff is precision-oriented, highly qualified and undergoes constant training to excel in new fields of expertise.
R&D is one of our most important departments, because our philosophy is to develop continuously. We focus on introducing new technologies into production of nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals, to provide the best product on the market. We also offer R&D outsourcing services for other companies and institutes.
